We had asked to transfer another credit card balance of $9,500. The only thing we can figure is we co-signed a $34,000 education loan for our son, who is a 2nd yr medical student.<BR/><BR/>My question is don't the credit reporting agencies give LESS WEIGHT to a co-signature not in default at all? Yes, we realize our obligations to co-signing, but never dreamed our credit would be affected this way.
